Implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) across key banking applications and systems

The project rolls out multi-factor authentication (MFA) across ING's key banking applications and systems. It forms part of the bank's global security strategy and delivers the controls required by regulation, including DORA and the EBA guidelines. Scope spans cloud environments (Azure AD / Entra ID) and on-premise applications, with legacy integrations over OAuth2, SAML, RADIUS and AS/400, and runs across IT Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners, Risk and Compliance teams locally and globally.

MY ROLE

Defining the scope, objectives and milestones of the project in the cybersecurity area.
Coordinating cross-functional teams (IT Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners, Risk, Compliance) locally and globally.
Overseeing MFA integration in cloud environments (Azure AD / Entra ID) and in on-premise applications.
Managing dependencies and challenges in integrating legacy systems (OAuth2, SAML, RADIUS, AS/400).
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (DORA, ING policies).
Running project governance — preparing reports, chairing steering committees, and maintaining ongoing communication with key stakeholders (CISO, CIO, global security teams).
Managing risks, issues and inter-project dependencies.
Working with technology and service vendors on MFA solutions.

Project CO2 Emissions Trading

Implementation of new investing product CO2 Emissions Trading

The project focuses on the successful implementation of a new investment product, "Carbon Emissions Trading," at BNP Paribas. Our main objective is to enable clients to actively participate in the global CO2 emissions trading market, fostering their engagement in climate change mitigation. Our dedicated project team oversees the entire lifecycle, from inception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, we identify business requirements and functional specifications for the trading platform. The implementation phase entails selecting and customizing a suitable vendor solution, followed by rigorous testing and smooth deployment.

My role

As the Project Coordinator, I oversaw the procurement process, which involved soliciting proposals and analyzing requirements. I organized the project work by delegating tasks to team members, ensuring that project activities were completed within the designated timeline and budget. The project work was carried out using the Scrum and Agile methodologies, which involved regular sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure that the project was progressing according to plan. I collaborated with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and track progress against project milestones. Additionally, I was involved in legal and tax counsel.

Project Regulatory Reporting EMIR/REFIT

Realization of the project to acquire and implement an EMIR REFiT regulatory reporting application

The project aimed to address the compliance requirements of the EMIR REFiT regulatory framework by acquiring and implementing a regulatory reporting application. The project team was responsible for the entire lifecycle of the project, from requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and deployment. The project involved collaborating with stakeholders to identify business requirements and functional specifications for the application. The implementation phase of the project involved the selection and customization of a suitable vendor solution, followed by the configuration, testing, and deployment of the application. Finally, the project team provided training and support to ensure successful adoption and ongoing compliance with the EMIR Refit regulations.

My role

As the Project Coordinator, I oversaw the procurement process, which involved soliciting proposals, analyzing requirements, and tailoring the vendor proposal to meet the needs of the bank. I organized the project work by delegating tasks to team members, ensuring that project activities were completed within the designated timeline and budget. The project work was carried out using the Scrum and Agile methodologies, which involved regular sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure that the project was progressing according to plan. I collaborated with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and track progress against project milestones. Additionally, I was involved in drafting the contract agreement and seeking external legal counsel to review and approve the contract.

The intragroup merger of BNP Paribas Securities Services SCA with its parent company BNP Paribas SA took place on 1 October 2022. Whilst Securities Services products and services remain unchanged as a result of the merger, BNP Paribas Securities Services SCA ceased to exist as a distinct legal entity. Therefore, the new legal entity facing our clients from the merger date is BNP Paribas SA. From this date, our clients or their potential partners should use the legal information of BNP Paribas SA, in lieu of those of BNP Paribas Securities Services, for identification purposes.

My role

During Project emerlad I was PM and main coordinator for IOC Warsaw (1000+ employees) and I was a part of GLOBAL Fund Administration Peoject Mangment team (3 people). I was in close cooperation with Head of Operacional and senior mangment a cross the globe from 17 countiers. Also I was taking care of reporting, planning and executng tasks, cooridnating tasks for 5 departments and more than 20 people.

Credit Suisse

Branch opening in Spain due to UK brexit

The Swiss lender sought a licence from the Bank of Spain and the European Central Bank in July to upgrade its brokerage in the country to a bank. Credit Suisse said its priority has always been to ensure it maintained access to European Union clients and markets regardless of the outcomes of the Brexit process. The decision to move part of its operations to Madrid was made after considering costs, employees’ preferences among other factors, Bunge told Expansion. Many big banks have already opened up hubs in Frankfurt, Paris and elsewhere in the bloc to continue serving customers there, while EU banks in London like ING have begun shifting some staff home.

My role

This was one of the main project where I was acting as a PMO working closly with Program Menager. My main tasks was preparing financial budget for resources, reporting and setting goals and key milestones.

Opening new funds and share classes

Mutual funds often offer several share classes to investors. Each class invests in the same portfolio of securities and has the same investment objectives and policies. However, their fees and expenses differ, which impact their performance. Other parameters, such as initial investment amounts, may differ as well.

My role

While working in Fund Accounting I was responsible for calculating NAV, opening new share classes and set uping new investement funds. Performing regular checks ofportfolio exposure and monitoring currency hedging. Also I worked on development, testing and implementation of automated solutions fo the whole department.
